Odd Brodsky – with Director Q&A
Directed by Cindy Baer
Director and actress Cindy Baer will be in attendance and will conduct Q&A after the screening.
After 11 years at a job she hates, Audrey Brodsky quits to pursue her childhood dream of acting. There’s just one problem: she’s not very good at it. But when she meets an aspiring cameraman on the Internet, she begins an unexpected, life-changing series of adventures. Director Cindy Baer’s first feature, Purgatory House, won awards at a dozen festivals. The delightfully quirky comedy Odd Brodsky is her second feature and is having similar success. Unusually ambitious for a low-budget indie, it includes more than 50 speaking parts, more than 80 music cues, and lots of sharp swipes at our media-saturated, celebrity-obsessed society.
